Chris Holder will lead race-shy Pirates into battle at Wolverhampton tonight.
Poole Coastal Aluminium have not rolled on to the track since Good Friday’s double-header against Coventry, with home clashes against Wolves and Swindon and an away trip to Blunsdon all postponed.
Wolves have named their favoured side for the meeting at Monmore Green (7.30pm Sky Sports), while Pirates chief Matt Ford has opted to use Ludvig Lindgren in place of doubling-up partner Sam Masters.
Ricky Wells, who starred for Pirates at the back end of last season’s Elite League title triumph, will line up at reserve for Wolves, alongside Lukasz Sowka.
Ford said: “We all saw what Ricky was capable off when he rode for us last season.
“It was a choice between him and Ludvig for those matches last year and so I will be keen to see how the two fare against each other tonight.”
Wolves: 1 Freddie Lindgren, 2 Pontus Aspgren, 3 Nicolai Klindt, 4 Ty Proctor, 5 Tai Woffinden, 6 Ricky Wells, 7 Lukasz Sowka.
Pirates: 1 Chris Holder, 2 Ricky Kling, 3 Darcy Ward, 4 Dennis Andersson, 5 Adrian Miedzinski, 6 Ludvig Lindgren, 7 Todd Kurtz.
