YOUNG Bashley batsman Sean Terry has been given his chance to shine in the top level of domestic cricket by Hampshire.
Southern Premier League club Bashley signed the opener earlier this year and he is set to feature during their upcoming 2012 campaign.
But Terry, who was snapped up by Hampshire on a two-year development contract in November, is currently staking his claim on the first-class circuit.
Son of former Hampshire and England player Paul Terry, the 20-year-old lined up for Hampshire in his debut County Championship appearance in their clash with Leicestershire at the Rose Bowl.
Australia-raised Terry junior was on the Lord’s ground-staff last summer and also struck a ton for Hampshire seconds against Surrey.
