Cherries boss Paul Groves has revealed his management structure at Dean Court will include a new first-team coach.
Groves is in the process of finalising his backroom team after being appointed on a permanent basis last month.
He will add to his coaching options with two new members of staff – one tasked with working with the first team, the other with a newly-formed development squad.
Cherries confirmed recently they would be withdrawing from the Football Combination next season in favour of playing more friendlies.
Reserve team manager and defensive coach Ryan Garry and sports scientist Louis Langdown were both casualties of Groves’s arrival in the hot-seat.
The new coaches, who are both expected to be external appointments, will work alongside Groves and assistant boss Shaun Brooks, while Neil Moss will continue to take the goalkeepers.
Groves, promoted from his role as youth team manager, told the Daily Echo: “We will work with another coach in and around the first team and there will be another coach who will work with the development group.
“The youth structure will stay pretty much the same with regards to how it was when we were around it, although there may be more personnel.
“All the coaches will share responsibility to a degree but there will be one assigned to the development group and there will be three of us with the first-team group.
“We will work with smaller numbers and try to get down to the real detail within the work so that we are covering all areas and bases.”
Groves said the appointment of a new fitness coach to replace Langdown should be made within the next two weeks.
Meanwhile, Cherries chairman Eddie Mitchell has confirmed Russ Wilcox, assistant manager to Lee Bradbury, remains on gardening leave.
