LAST Friday I had an appointment at the doctors for 8.30am.
There were no buses because of snow and slush.
I live on Alder Road Hills, in Poole, so I started to walk. There was a young man going to work; he caught my arm and slowly walked up the hill with me. He even took me across to the doctor’s.
On my way back, there was a young girl at the bus stop. By this time the road was clear.
I had left my bus card at home, so she gave me £2 for the bus fare.
I greatly appreciated those acts of kindness.
