EMILY Sargeant quotes the church as having ‘outdated beliefs’. The church is more relevant today than ever.
The ‘values’ of today she talks about is the broad way that leads to destruction, people need to seek the narrow way, (not adhering to the God forsaking world we live in).
The Christian message is a 'light in the darkness', and the truth must be told. That is what the church needs to ‘promote’.
It is good that Emily is ‘trying to bring her daughter up to love and accept people’, whoever they are, for God is love, but is she being given a balanced view, or just a secular one?
