RE Cllr Filer’s comments that there is ‘no appetite’ for a major road scheme to get the ghastly congestion chaos in this conurbation sorted.
Connecting Wessex Way to Dorset Way is the only answer.
Forty years ago this problem arose with the Bournemouth town centre bypass. Some councillors tried to stop it.
Imagine the chaos now if they had been successful.
We would be in the same mess as Parkstone and Poole are now. Please the majority of the people in this town. Ask the opinion of the business people who have to traverse the traffic every day.
Fiddling with it is just a waste of money.
