NOT content to waste millions of pounds on the demolition of the IMAX, Bournemouth Council is also wasting thousands of pounds on the new-fangled ‘webcam’ showing live pictures of the site.
Already they have had to repaint the barriers around the building twice, because the camera attracts graffiti artists keen to express themselves.
They’re probably going to have to keep painting it, at even greater cost.
The Conservative administration bought and demolished the IMAX as a populist gesture to win votes.
They’re trying to curry as much favour as possible for their ‘deconstruction’. I hope the people of Bournemouth will remember this profligacy when they next go to the polls.
