THE committee and members of the Bournemouth and District branch of the Multiple Sclerosis Society wish to thank those who so kindly donated at our street collection points in Poole and Broadstone on Saturday, May 11.
Even with financial restraints and the very non-summer weather we amassed a very healthy sum of £361.01.
These monies are important to the successful running of this special branch. Every penny collected goes directly towards offering things like specialised and specific physiotherapy sessions that help with mobility and cognitive problems.
We need each year to increase our income to cope with not only rising costs but also a constant increase of the newly diagnosed and many others that now find they need the centre’s help. Thank you all once again.
