I FULLY agree with your correspondent Ms Hart (Echo May 9) regarding her complaint of the shortage of public seating at Castlepoint.
This lack of seating also applies to our parks, sea front and in many public areas, where to find adequate seating is like hunting for gold dust.
Compared to many of our competitors we are very much lacking in providing an essential amenity when one considers, for example the North Wales resort Llandudno where the whole of the promenade parallel with the beach is equipped with a continuous row of adequate seating. Come along council, add this essential requirement to your super forward vision programme, cos it’s badly needed.
