I AM writing to you to ask if any of your readers have had a similar experience to ourselves.

We had an artificial lawn laid in July 2012 and were very pleased with the result. However in February of this year, following the spell of bad weather, our lawn began to develop unusual markings in the nature of “crop circles”.

These peculiar markings have continued to grow in number up to the present day and we remain concerned about these apparent “extra-terrestrial” visitations.

I would be interested to know whether anyone has experienced this phenomenon similarly with their artificial lawn, or can offer an alternative plausible explanation.

The Mayor of Bournemouth will soon be visiting our garden on one of our open days and he will, I am sure, be curious to know the origin of these strange occurrences.
