I HAD to use the police’s new 101 non-emergency number on bank holiday at 10.30pm, due to having two young lads staring at me through my lounge window.
I called the non-emergency number as it was not an emergency, just peeping toms.
After being on hold to talk to an operator after five minutes, I gave up as the young lads left the area. Not a very good service at all. Today I was looking at my phone bill. I have been charged for the call at premium rate.
What is the point of the 101 service? 999 for me next time.
