I TRAVEL the same route every week day to get to work from East Howe Lane to Wallisdown, along the very busy Kinson Road.
It astounds me the number of parents and sometimes even grandparents that try and cross that road with young children, dodging the very busy traffic instead of teaching them to cross safely by the crossing.
It’s not as if the crossing is miles out of there way, as it isn’t. It is right next to Hadow Road where these schools are. We were taught how to cross the road safely and use a crossing at all times if possible. So why do today’s parents not value their children’s lives?
