WALKING up to Slades Farm at 5.30am on the morning after one of the busiest days there, what a pleasure to notice the lack of litter laying around. Plenty of litter about, but in bins and black bags. It is fairly obvious that many people committed a lot of time and work into making the festival a success. Yes, there was loud music.
Yes, there was more traffic around. Yes, there were cyclists and skateboarders on pavements and yes, there were plenty of dogs about. But did that mar any part of my weekend living so close? No sir. It was all about people of all ages enjoying themselves. Which is what living in Bournemouth should be all about.
