THE family of Glyn Helliwell believed they had won justice for their son last year when his killer was convicted in court.
They still believe that to be the case, as his father says in this newspaper today.
But the waters have been muddied a little with claims that it was not the convicted man, Jake Brand, who cut down Mr Helliwell, but his brother Danny who has, for what it is worth, made a confession.
The Court of Appeal threw out the case last week but the Brand family say the wrong son is in prison.
Whatever the truth, the family of Mr Helliwell have clearly suffered more than enough.
