Cllr Greene accuses me of claiming to be an expert on the science of wind farm photography. Others may be challenging the amount of visual impact but my argument remains that, whatever our personal views on being able to see an off-shore wind farm from the coast, this is a necessary compromise for the provision of desperately needed clean energy.
However, those who are concerned about the views may, despite Cllr Greene’s claims to the contrary, check the perspective including “two obvious comparators seen from the beach: the Isle of Wight and Old Harry Rocks” on about 14 of the A3 images provided by Navitus Bay in their Phase Three Community Consultation Viewpoint Visuals Booklet.
