I BELIEVE Bournemouth Council is wrong to allow the building of nine holiday lets in the plans for the cliff-top site (‘Flats and restaurant plan for cliff-top site’, Daily Echo, July 25).

There is a shortage of houses for homes so allowing the building of nine holiday lets for owners who presumably already have a home of their own but hope to make money on the holiday lets does not seem right to me.

I am thankful and relieved that I already have a home as living in temporary accommodation while waiting for a home must be totally depressing.
