I HAVE just returned from yet another walk where two dogs, namely highland terriers, were allowed to run barking and growling at my two dogs, which were both on leads.
If they had been children, they would have been terrified or hurt. People think that if they have dogs that are not of the ‘dangerous’ type, eg terriers or spaniels, it does not matter if they have no control over them, and if you complain they laugh or take no notice. I love dogs and wish them all freedom, but because these days so many people have inbred, excitable and untrained dogs, it is time to put them all on leads when out.
