Last night I attended the show Aquaria at the BIC. Never have I seen such a performance with such diversity. Amazing, colourful and exquisitely designed costumes together with high flying acts, fire performers, underwater dancers, all the while accompanied by amazing drummers and dancers.
I did not know what to expect but could never have imagined a show such as this. It was spell-binding to watch and to listen to the story as it unfolded.
Disappointingly, there were few people in the audience but maybe this was because it was only the second night so I do hope the situation improves for this very special show.
Unlike many shows where photography is forbidden the cast assembles afterwards to meet the audience and to take photographs so make sure to take your cameras.
I would dearly like to see the show again as so much was happening on the stage at once it was impossible to take everything in.
Thank you to all the performers for such an amazing evening and thank you to Andrew and Debbie for buying the tickets and giving your mums an unforgettable time.
