The possible decision to close Wimborne, and other, TICs is sheer madness and economic lunacy.
These places are what they say they are, Information Centres which are of great value to the town in question, not just for visitors but certainly for residents too, assisting the income of the town.
The friendly staff provide a vital valuable service dealing with advice, travel, entertainment, tickets, and all sorts of other local queries.
That is the key, local information and help, not always the limited stuff you can get online, but that which you want, or may want, when there on that day, for that day or the next.
We may only have lived here for a short while, but are sure these offices are the face of our towns, and vital for its future life.
Barry Simper, Lonnen Wood Close, Wimborne
