All the locals hear these days is why Poole council cannot move the travellers who leave behind such a filthy mess, this is not to mention the increase in crime in the area.
Other councils seem to manage better. I have nothing against travellers or their way of life, providing that they clean up after themselves.
Most campers in caravans use chemical loos or local toilets. They clean up the mess after themselves, but not a number of travellers who ruin our countryside, and threaten the locals.
The government is going to remind councils on their powers, I hope that Poole council takes note.
