FULL of praise for the National Health Service.
Recently I returned home after eleven days in a Somerset hospital.
We were staying in self-catering accommodation in Wookey when I tripped in the bedroom and broke my hip. First of all I was taken to Glastonbury hospital for X-rays etc then transferred to Yeovil District hospital.
I had my operation and stayed there a week. Then I was transferred back to Alderney hospital, Poole for three days.
I am a diabetic so it was a bit more difficult.
The treatment I received was first class and the staff so friendly and kind to me and my family.
