I WOULD like to pay tribute to all the staff involved in this year’s Air Festival.
What a super event and magnificent weather!
I was there all four days with the veterans’ tent and we were pleased that all four days were sunny and warm – the best ever, we all agreed.
The organisation and hard work which goes into this event is tremendous – from the Air Festival director to all the staff who keep our town clean.
What a wonderful advert for Bournemouth!
One of the lasting memories for me was on Sunday, when the four naval ships said their farewells and saluted our town as they sailed away along our coast – what a sight to see!
Congratulations to all and here’s looking forward to next year.
CLLR ANNE REY, Throop and Muscliff, leader of the Independents, Bournemouth Borough Council
