THE letter from the police and crime commissioner (August 30) again misses an important point made by many of your correspondents, but never answered by the police.
On most occasions when travellers get onto a site they do so by causing criminal damage, by cutting off a lock, breaking a fence or gate or some other means.
Is this not an offence? Should the offender not be arrested? Is it not a reason to move the travellers on?
If it was one of us non-travellers, we would be in trouble quickly enough, is there one law for us and one for them?
