Shower cost the taxpayer nothing at all
I’D LIKE to reply to the letter from Mr Edwards concerning the new beach shower at Boscombe Pier (Daily Echo, August 27).
Mr Edwards will be pleased to know the shower has cost the Bournemouth Council tax payer nothing at all.
It has been sponsored by Havaianas, a flip-flop retailer, and all the costs including a commercial rent have been covered by the company.
I think it fits well with the Coastal Activity Park.
It’s modern, colourful and well used, as well as being really good fun.
