DUE to a health scare I found myself attending Royal Bournemouth Hospital A&E on Bank Holiday Monday where I was admitted, and the day was spent undergoing numerous tests.
We hear so many bad things about our local hospitals and the NHS that I felt compelled to write to say what wonderful care I received.
The emergency team knew they would be in for a long and busy day – but at all times they remained calm, polite, reassuring and, above all, extremely caring.
The emergency department was very clean, and I watched as areas were re-cleaned numerous times and disinfected.
It was most certainly not my day of choice – but these people working in often fraught conditions are a true credit to the NHS and the medical profession.
Thank you for being there. You are very much appreciated.
