WITH regard to your article on the ‘Super council debate’ (Daily Echo, September 5), I would like to make a comment on how disgusted I am that only 20,000 households out of 800,000 (a mere 2.5 per cent) are in line to receive a “survey”.
This surely confirms what many people are already saying, that it is a “done deal” and no consideration is being given to – or indeed has been given to – true local people.
Poole has a lot of history in its own right and should be treated accordingly. Action should be taken before it’s too late.
