WALKING up Barrack Road one day last week, a young(ish) man strode past me, obviously on his way to the shop.  In one hand he was swinging his shopping bag and in the other hand he was swinging a face mask.

When I got into the shop, there, of course, was the man wearing the face mask he had been swinging up the road.

It’s no wonder there is so much controversy over the effectiveness of using this type of protection.

Now that we’ve all, hopefully, been taught how to wash our hands, perhaps it is time for a few lessons on how to use a face mask?
