There’s a campaign from various beach hut owners, walkers, and little Hitlers who would like to close the prom to cyclists.
Well, I cycle along the prom to work each day and most of the time there’s no one else there. The prom is for everyone, not just children and footballers – there’s seven miles of beach for them to play on.
Or for dog walkers who take their dogs to the beach to use it as a toilet.
Or for eyesore beach huts which are only used one month out of 12.
The prom is for everyone to use and enjoy, and shouldn’t be closed while one of your letter writers takes his monthly constitutional.
