Tony Watson’s letter about a next to useless sign on the inside of the toilet door at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital (Have Your Say, June 15) reminded me about the pair of scissors I recently bought from a well known supermarket.
The scissors were packed inside a totally sealed clear plastic envelope. Through the plastic I could read “To open, carefully cut packaging with scissors.”
Perhaps the packaging should also carry a warning to say: “These scissors should not be purchased unless you already possess a pair” followed by: “But then if you already have a pair why are you purchasing these?”!
