I AM writing in response to a letter headlined ‘Nightmare after dark on estate’ (Have Your Say, June 13).
I live on Turlin Moor and I’m fed up with my car being vandalised, and having abuse shouted at me if I confront anybody over what they’re doing.
The police tell you not to confront anyone because of the danger you put yourself in.
Let’s let these bullies get away with it then!
The writer is right – adults should stand up to this problem, but don’t expect any help from the police or local authorities, I’m afraid you are on your own.
Poole Housing Partnership featured in the Daily Echo some time ago saying how much better the estate was.
One of them should live in my house for a month and have late night revellers shouting and waking them up in the middle of the night. They can park their car outside my house and have it vandalised. Then they just might change their minds and tackle the problem instead of putting it down to a few, ignoring it and hoping it will all go away.
