I am certainly not a subscriber to the quasi pseudo science that is climate change (formally global warming until the facts didn’t fit!) and have no intention of trading in my Range Rover at the moment.
Yet I am amazed in a world of supposedly eco-aware comrades that it takes a petrol head like me to notice, and bring to your paper’s attention, that the lights in the very empty former Borders store, smack bang in the centre of our supposedly green-aware town, have been blazing, day and night, for more than six months since the store closed!
The cost of this astonishing waste must be astronomical, not to mention all those that CO2 that it’s pumping out, so I would be grateful if you could bring this to the attention of any eco warriors out there and get someone to pull the plug.
