I FERVENTLY hope that Eddie Mitchell has a rethink regarding his apparent support for those obnoxious vuvuzelas (Daily Echo, June 23), and am horrified to read that the sale of these antisocial nuisances is contemplated locally.
South Africa is one thing, but Dean Court is another, and as a long-standing season ticket holder I know I’m not alone in my horror at the prospect of enduring such match-long noise. I would urge all supporters to register their opposition to this ghastly racket.
