We rarely heap praise on people and companies these days so I would like to thank the media, press ie The Daily Echo and staff for the wonderful coverage of the Royal Wedding pageantry locally and nationally.
Also the terrific job the BBC did in their great operation of the proceedings in London and elsewhere.
We moan about them sometimes but the spectacle we received on television was superb, not forgetting Huw Edwards and the supporting team of commentators and the wonderful job they did.
Well done everyone and it makes me very proud to be an Englishman again! Our Union Jacks flying. Wonderful!
