I AM writing on behalf of my lovely partner Jackie, who has over the past 12 months been nursing her elderly mother, who had ovarian cancer.
After an operation in the Liverpool ladies’ hospital she was unable to have chemotherapy.
My partner gave up her job to nurse her mother at home over the past eight plus months, where she passed away on Sunday, May 8.
It is here we wish to express our sincere thanks to our own doctor, Adrian Hutchins, who without any details made contact with the various agencies, Marie Curie, the palliative care teams and district nurse, who gave us all the possible help in making life a little bit easier for her mother and my partner.
To them all we say a big thank you.
