WE ARE all aware that our country is faced with an enormous debt left by a profligate Labour government.
We now have a Tory led government, determined to reduce that debt by severe cost-cutting measures which will hurt us all. Tough, we say, but ‘needs must’.
However, in its first year in power this government has committed to donating more billions to ‘poor countries’ than ever it could hope to recoup from its economy measures.
One recipient country is to receive its second eye-watering handout because it is unable or unwilling to manage its own affairs.
So, why don’t we cut out Greece from the EU?
Better still, why don’t we leave that vast unaccountable union?
