AT 21:00 on Thursday May 12, I went on one of my moonlight walks to the Tilly Whim caves.
There was a clear sky and the visibility was excellent with views of the Needles lighthouse and the two radio masts on the Isle of Wight.
Returning on the Diagonal Path, I heard a very powerful and fast animal running through the undergrowth. The animal growled very loudly and deeply. Some people think it was a wild boar but one ranger thought it was a badger.
