IT IS good to see that most people are responsible when in our countryside. So, why is it that there is a small minority that seem to think that it’s okay to use the countryside as a general rubbish tip?
I walk our dog (carrying poo bags if needed) along the byroads in Throop. There has been a variety of dumped rubbish in the roadside, including three black bin bags of full jars and tins with an old sandwich maker, kettle and broken glass. Is it so difficult to put stuff like this in a household bin?
And, today, a pile of at least six large bags of builders’ rubbish has been left by a very pretty track.
You know who you are!
It is up to us to dispose of our rubbish responsibly.
A few more bins for general use would be good, except they would probably be vandalised.
