WHAT exactly does the term funded by ‘developer’s contributions’ mean?
We see it used quite a lot these days, for example in the case of the new Poole Bridge partly funded by this method.
Again in the so-called refurbishment of the green park at Ashley Cross and in other projects around the conurbation.
Does it mean as it sounds that developers are asked to give a contribution in order to be allowed planning permission to develop a site?
If so then can this be morally right?
I would very much like to know what the situation is.
