HAVING used Hurn Airport for many years I was absolutely astonished to see that it has decided to commit financial suicide at a time when it needs local support!
Yet another nail in the coffin of Bournemouth International Airport on its way to unpopularity, boycott and a thoroughly unfriendly venue.
Dropping off my disabled brother on Sunday, May 8 with my husband was not a pleasant experience.
Despite the ugly, unwelcoming signs and bollards everywhere, I did not imagine for one moment that the experience would be one that has left us all resolved to never want to use this airport ever again.
£2.50 for merely stopping the car to drop a passenger off? Outrageous, unacceptable and just darn right greedy. Shame on you Bournemouth International Airport. Flying from Hurn is no longer a pleasurable experience. From now on it’s Southampton Airport whenever and wherever possible.
