I WOULD like to endorse the sentiments written about AFC Bournemouth by Barbara Osborne (Have Your Say).

What a credit to the town all the Bournemouth players are (plus the management team).

They played magnificently in both play-off games and all the fans must be proud at the way they conducted themselves.

We were by far the better team and if it had not been for the dubious decisions by the ref in each game we are convinced that we would be heading for the Championship.

We were not awarded an obvious penalty in the first game and in the second game one of their players got away with pushing the referee, not once but several times!

Plus he let them off with obvious fouls when a red card should have been shown, the same as to our player. We wish AFC Bournemouth all good luck for next season (and hope that we get referees who abide by the one rule for all!) C’mon you Cherries!
