I WAS puzzled by the person from Boscombe’s letter about Kelly’s Kitchen.
I accept and would defend his right to state his views as a British tax payer but as a Boscombe resident his council tax goes to Bournemouth not Dorset County Council or Christchurch Borough Council.
I would also suggest that because he is not aware of all the facts in this very complex situation, his very black and white opinion is somewhat simplistic.
I support Kelly’s Kitchen and supported an extension to the library, these two are not mutually exclusive.
The library extension will go ahead, presumably without staff or stock due to cutbacks, reflected in the number of other library’s closing in the Dorset County Council area.
I am therefore waiting for a charity shop or similar to open in the premises when Kelly’s Kitchen closes as the council will then realise they can do nothing with the extension once it is built.
