I AM normally slow to anger, but your front page (June 11) made me boil with rage.
The sight of a distressed fawn looking in vain for her offspring is one of the most harrowing pictures I have seen for a long time.
The arsonists who perpetrated this will be jumping up and down in delight – and boasting about it. That is how such sickos get their kicks.
Well, it is time everyone stood up and called time on such repulsive activities. Someone knows who they are. If nothing else, their clothing will smell of smoke. The Echo would be doing a public service if it ran a campaign to track down these scumbags and bring them to court.
Despite what that wet paper bag Kenneth Clarke might say, a custodial prison sentence would be totally in order. Let's track down these vermin!
