FOR those folk who are still not convinced of the exploitative and rank stupidity of wind farms and the people who propose them, then consider the following.
The French are proposing a wind farm comprising 80 wind generators standing 525ft tall and situated off the Normandy coast. These intrusive monstrosities will be clearly visible from the D-Day landing beaches, which begs the question: ‘Is nothing sacred anymore?’ What a despicable insult to all those who gave the ultimate sacrifice on June 6, 1944.
These sacred beaches and their coastal views should not be desecrated by the idiocy of industrialised, ineffective wind farms.
Indeed, wind farms are the village idiot’s concept of an electrical supply, which makes the French proposal even more damning, especially so when you consider that France has embraced nuclear power stations, whose surplus energy is exported to England via a Channel Interconnector.
So why do they need asinine wind generation, which is unquestionably at the mercy of the wind?
It is the height of insensitivity and judgement for the French to even consider such a deplorable and senseless proposition.
