RESPECT for cyclists? You must be joking.
Yesterday I dropped my mother off at the opticians in Southbourne and whilst waiting outside in my car, I counted 27 cyclists riding on the pavement and only three using the road.
The majority of pedestrians were elderly and one nearly fell over trying to avoid a cyclist.
They should be stopped by the police as car drivers are, to present tax, insurance and a licence.
It’s not a case of one rotten apple in the barrel, it’s a case of most rotten apples in the barrel.
What’s the point of cycle lanes?
Respect?
Pah!
