I AM campaigning to put forward to Mr Kenneth Clarke (Justice Secretary) a proposal that polygraph (lie detector) tests should be admissible evidence in some court cases.
America’s Federal Bureau of Investigation (amongst others) trust such tests – so why are we lagging behind? When we have a court system that doesn’t always get it right!
Judges must realise that they are not infallible, and could embrace the polygraph as an instrument to aid them, not replace them.
An argument put forward by some, against the polygraph is, that it is not scientifically proven. However God is not scientifically proven nor is it scientifically proven that swearing on the Holy Bible in court, produces the truth!
If you would like to see the polygraph tests used in court, please write to both me and your MP, together we could make a difference.
