JUST four days after our library is reopened after months of work and the expenditure of thousands of pounds of council taxpayers’ money, what happens?

A dog owner allows their pet to mess on the pavement just outside the doors and this is trodden in and walked up the stairs into the library on the brand new carpet.

I expect you know who you are and feel suitably guilty.

Although I doubt the guilt bit.
