AS a committee member I would like to thank all volunteers and stall-holders who made the annual Picnic in the Park at Queens Park such a success.

Our special thanks go to all the cadets from the Air Training Corps (ATC), who showed great enthusiasm and many thanks to Barry Stead; also, the wonderful dancers who performed to us all, Poole Dolphins and the All Star Dance Group.

Again the weather was unpredictable but the local community supported us so very well.

Let’s look forward to next year’s Picnic in the Park. I am sure all the families that came to the annual event really enjoyed themselves. The music was played by In the Pink – superb as usual.
