I HAVE just returned from the Poole Council meeting during which the Town Green Status was to be discussed. However, when I got there I found that this item had been deferred until another date.

The Town Green Status was item 15 on the agenda which means it may not have been discussed even if I had waited all night. This seems to me to be a deliberate ploy by the Tory councillors to use delaying tactics with this very important subject.

I hope this backfires on them and even more members of the community who support this will turn up at the next meeting (whenever this may come about).
