THE number of peers in the House of Lords is now nearly 800. Shouldn’t the Upper House reflect the voters in this country?
The more than 900,000 votes UKIP received in the last election, and the 2.5 million votes gained in the 2009 European elections represent a significant and growing section of public opinion, but we are being ignored.
