I AM responding as an outraged artist to the letter published in the Echo (July 2) concerning the Pine Walk Summer Exhibition in Westover Road, Bournemouth.
I have been exhibiting at Pine Walk for over 10 years and can assure you that the quality of work is excellent. It is well attended with visitors and artists.
Last Saturday every stand was taken and many paintings were sold at affordable prices. Admission is free and artists are always available to discuss their work.
This is an outdoor exhibition and therefore reliant on good weather. You can hardly expect artists to stand out all day when the weather is rainy and cold like it has been recently.
I would like to reassure residents and visitors that the exhibition still continues to flourish.
